Grapes 80% Merlot, 10% Cabernet Sauvignon, 10% Malbec Alcohol content 14% in the cellar 7 years. Open and direct aroma, fruity and spicy on the finish. Good depth and compact construction throughout the body palate, where there is an excellent balance of healthy tannins and juvenile berry. Somewhat earthy finish. A cuvée of Merlot, Malbec and Cabernet Sauvignon. It is recommended to decant it.

Das Château de La Grave looks back on a centuries-old history that dates back to the 15th century. Four generations of winemakers are coordinated within the BASSEREAU family. It is a beautiful family legacy, the story of several generations that continues to this day Valérie and Philippe, their son Lou and their loyal and dedicated team on which you can count in any circumstance.

The winery is an organic farm (Ecocert – all our wines are certified as 2023 Vintage) and is currently in the process of biodynamic certification (Demeter).

The vineyard consists of 45 hectares, all of which are located on slopes. 38.50 hectares are dedicated to the production of red wines: 80% Merlot, 10% Cabernet Sauvignon and 10% Malbec. 6.50 hectares are dedicated to white wine production: 50% Colombard and 50% Sémillon.
